PLATED JEWELRY CARE TIPS

All metals tarnish and dull at some point, as the chemicals from daily wear and the exposed layer of gold/ rose gold / silver react with air to change the colour of the piece.

Although our jewelry has 3 layers precious metal material coated that covers a non-precious base metal, cleaning needs to done carefully, and extra care needs to be taken to ensure the longevity of the shine. Usually the colour could last for years if use away from water and chemicals.

All silver items listed as Genuine 925 Sterling Silver or 925 sterling silver are made by Genuine 925 Sterling Silver.

✧Avoid swimming, showering and sweating while wearing plated jewelry
✧Keep plated jewelry sealed inside the supplied zip lock bag once you have finished using it. Make sure to separate gold plated items from silver plated items as the different metals will cause each other to tarnish, fade and/or turn colors.
✧Every two months, or when the piece of jewelry is looking dull, give it a clean in lukewarm water using a drop of dish-washing liquid. Rub gently with your fingers and rinse thoroughly. Dry properly with a soft, lint-free cloth.
✧You could also invest in a soft jewelry polishing cloth. Make sure to use very sparingly as you could rub away preciousmetal surface layer if used too much. Only use when the piece of jewelry is looking dull.
