Tan, Cognac, Chestnut & Brown belts will be fitted with natural brass as standard
Black belts will be fitted with chrome nickel as standard
If you would like a different buckle finish to standard, please specify which buckle finish you would like supplied with your belt (Brass, Antique Brass or Nickel Chrome) by adding this as a note to the seller when you make a purchase. (see picture 3)
If you prefer a different leather, colour, tooling or stitching you are welcome to suggest what you would like. I can then set up a custom order for you to purchase.
Leather belt features -
Quality 8-9 oz full-grain Italian leather (approx. 3 - 3.5mm or 1/8 inch thick) available in Black, Brown, Chestnut, Cognac and Tan leather options. (single belt pictures 4,5,6,7,& 8 are in the same colour order)
2 inch (50mm) width, great with men's jeans, khakis, and tradie/cargo shorts that feature wider belt loops. (check your belt loops will take this width)
Buckles – high quality, heavy hand cast, solid brass heel bar buckle with roller, in natural or antiqued bass and chrome nickel finishes. approximate external dimensions 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" (65mm x 70mm) approximate weight 3.3oz (95grams)
Heavy duty, solid brass/nickel line 24 snaps to enable buckle removal / fitment of other buckles

The highest quality leather belts are made of full grain leather which last much longer and look better with age. Lesser quality belts are made out of cheaper (in grade order) top grain, split and even bonded leather. These tend to last for about 2 years down to 6 months, deteriorate in appearance over time and are usually cheap to buy.
Full grain leather comes from the top layer of the hide. The skin or surface of the animal remains intact with the leather exhibiting all its natural marks and features. Full grain leather provides maximum strength and durability due to the tightness of its grain while retaining its breathability. It develops an aesthetically appealing patina over time.
Apart from the type of leather chosen most quality casual belts are made of medium weighted leather 8-9oz. This is approximately 3-3.5mm (1/8 inch) in thickness. Cheaper belt can be down to 1.5mm in thickness and usually tear around the buckle and holes or come apart where they have been glued together.
These belts are hand made by me with Full Grain 8-9 oz weighted leather which is 3.0-3.5mm (1/8 inch) thick. Please also note it is 50mm (2 inches) in width as opposed to the standard 38mm (1.5 inch) and 45mm (1.75 inch) jeans belts. They are made with heavy duty snaps for interchanging buckles. The high quality, solid brass buckles are available in 3 finishes. I do have other 2" buckles, send a request if you want a different buckle with your belt strap.
The belts are sized in inches from the fold in the leather where it attached to the buckle to the centre hole (middle out of five)at the billet end of the belt.
For example a size 36" belt will be 36" from the fold to the centre hole.
Before ordering please check your size. Take a belt you already own and measure from the fold in the leather where the buckle attaches to the hole that you currently use. This measurement will be used to size your new belt.
