Looking for a way to work on answering object function questions at home with your child? These flashcards offer visual aids, making them perfect for young children or for children on the autism spectrum.

In this set, you'll find two questions about each object ("What is a ___ for?" and "What do you use to ____?"). This allows the child to work on both verbs and nouns.

There are a total of 90 Object Function task cards in this set.

The use of visuals and low-distraction backgrounds are ideal for students on the autism spectrum or any young learner. These are great for speech therapy, special education, and preschool students.

Each Object Function Card includes:

· A written question

· A large picture related to the question to increase comprehension

· Three visual answer choices paired with written words


These cards utilize Picture Communication Symbols® (PCS/Boardmaker symbols), which are familiar to many special education students, especially those who use AAC.

After you download the PDF file, print the cards. Optional: You may want to print on card stock (a thicker paper) and/or laminate your cards to make them better for repeated use. Alternatively, you could place them in a notebook inside plastic page protectors.
