We recommend storing your beautiful jars out of direct sunlight and heat. They can last for 6 - 12 months unopened. We also recommend once opened to use within 3-6 months and to keep any moisture out of the opened product. The lid is currently in two parts and is designed to be airtight once fully closed.

We would recommend waiting until you are all healed from your beautiful babes arrival. Whilst there are some benefits to Epsom Salt baths to alleviate aches and pains, the temperature of bathwater can have adverse effects on your growing bubs. We also use essential oils and other natural ingredients that are recommended not to be used during pregnancy. So for now, pop your feet up and relax in another way and enjoy your Tonical Bath Ritual when your body is all healed postpartum.

Simply let us know you’re not a floaty type person and we will make your bath ritual with the botanicals separate by including them in a complimentary reusable soaking bag for you to relax in bliss without the floaties bothering you!

Whilst all of our ingredients “could” be so good to eat, we highly recommend NOT internally ingesting any of our bath rituals. We take great care to use all natural products and our ingredients are food grade quality however, our bath rituals are not designed to be ingested. If you’re looking for a tisane to have with your bath let us know and we will create a special listing just for you! But please don’t drink your bath water… it’s not cool.

If you are local to Hills District you can return your jar to us to be refilled at a discounted rate, as part of our ethos is to be as sustainable and reusable where possible. The jar also is heat proof and makes a lovely tealight home for your future baths. The jar is dishwasher proof however, not microwavable. Aside from bath salts, it can be used to store many things or store your food items keeping them airtight. And it also make a gorgeous glass to drink from! There is no wrong way to “do” a bath - everything is flexible! Our intentions in creating our bath rituals centre around the creating sacred space to fill the soul, and inviting you to make time for you that is infilling and creates a rhythm in your life of flow. So really, the purpose of your bath is up to you. Perhaps you’d like to set an intention before each bath. And use the uninterrupted time you have calved out to do a guided meditation, or apply a face mask or collagen eye patches, maybe read a book, or pop in a conditioning hair treatment, enjoy the silence or scroll the night away. However you want to spend your bath time is up to you! This is your time, make it what you need it to be.

Water is a powerful container for cleansing and replenishing. At Tonical Bath Rituals, we believe when you do something in a purposeful set way, with intention on a regular basis that this forms ritual in your life. Baths are a wonderful invitation to practise ritual as they encourage us to pause and ponder, to slow and savour and invite us into a place of surrender, reflection which when practised in small ways begin to form transformational change.
