With the ongoing devastating Genocide occurring against Palestinian people in Gaza we have been feeling helpless. It is unimaginable that in 2024 such inhumanity is occurring right in front of our eyes. With more than 35k civilian deaths and a significant portion of those being innocent children we must stand up collectively and call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
A friend suggested creating some pieces of jewellery to raise awareness and help show our solidarity with Palestinian people.
We have created these pieces in shape of a watermelon heart- a symbol of Love, Solidarity and Resistance. The colours of the Palestinian flag - Black, Red, Green and White have all been used and the Keffiyeh pattern has been used to highlight our solidarity and great desire for FREEDOM for Palestinian people.
We will never be free until we are all free.
