Our simple, loose fitting, old fashioned nightgown for women is exactly the same as our gown for girls, but made in misses and plus sizes. The high yoke, long full skirt and long sleeves made in our quality cotton flannel make for a super cozy night. There are no extra special bells and whistles on these gowns for good reason. Throw them in the washer and dryer and grab for them again and again.

Unfortunately, Etsy will no longer allow me to list flannel gowns in girls sizes because my cotton flannel is not treated with flame retardant. While I understand, please send me a message if you have any questions.

If purchasing a gift, a standard finished length would be 50". You may shorten or lengthen based on your needs as you choose your size. If the measurement you need is shorter than listed, just let me know when you check out as there is no extra charge. For lengths beyond 59" you may add length. You may also add pockets. For any other desired alterations (to bodice, length of sleeves etc) please send me a message to get a price. Use the listings found in the section below for your changes.

To measure how long you would like your gown, use a tape measure from the top of your shoulder down to where you'd like it to end. If you would prefer sleeves with a simple hem and no elastic, please leave me a note and be sure to check your messages as I will need one special measurement. Choose your nightgown size based on your full bust measurement.

We make these in our cotton flannels. Please look through the pictures to choose your desired flannel. They are all medium to heavy quilt ship quality cotton flannel with the exception of the solid white and solid black. Those are a little lighter. It’s always wise to give me a second choice for flannel as these nightgowns empty a bolt of fabric very quickly. Fabrics no longer on the pulldown list are out of stock. I restocked new flannels in January 2024. Please grab what you'd like while it is in stock! Please note that the prints on the flannels are slightly larger than in the pictures. If you have any questions or would like a picture of the full bolt to get a sense of print size, please send me a message and I'll be happy to help you out. I know small fabric swatches are hard to picture in a full garment and it's impossible to show them at exact size in the pictures.

A custom order is any garment where you choose the size and fabric and I then make it up for you. Check the ship date for the shops present turnaround time. Please always check the shipping date before placing your order as I do not process cancellations. If you require a custom item sooner, add your item to the cart and take note of the price. Go to the last section of the shop called "Rush orders" and use the appropriate listing there in order to receive your order by the date you need it. Availability of rush orders is dependent on my ability to get them done in the promised time. If you don’t see availability it’s simply because my time is all booked up.

Most of the listings include a size chart. If you need any help with sizing simply send me a message and I'll be happy to help you out. For a child give me age, chest and waist measurement. For an adult give bust and waist measurement. Pattern sizing can be quite different from store sizing, especially in adult sizes. It's always better to check if you are unsure.

Please be sure that you can commit to your purchase before you place your order and be sure to check your ship date before checking out. It is my desire to provide clothing at a very reasonable cost. The cost you pay is based on the cost of materials and labor. I do not charge customers for my initial design time, my site work time, overhead or any administration. This allows me to keep my prices lower than many other fabric artists. It also means that I do not cancel orders. As a one-woman shop, staying open would simply not be viable if I were to do so. In order to keep prices as reasonable as possible for everyone, I do not accept returns on ready to ship garments or custom made garments. Please ask questions before purchasing to be sure that the item will meet your needs. Please measure carefully. I always recommend purchasing one of any given made to order style before buying multiples so that together we know that the style and fit is right before doing more.

I understand that there is a risk in ordering custom made as you cannot try on before purchasing. As one who designs and sews for others all day, I truly enjoy supporting other shops and purchase clothing for myself here on Etsy. While not everything is perfect I enjoy the adventure of having something made just for me.

Pockets are an add on option because there are a good percentage of customers who simply do not like them. This way I don't need to automatically charge any of you for pockets you don't want. Almost all of my dresses and skirts can have added pockets. Please see the last section of the store named RUSH ORDERS AND ADD ONS in order to add pockets to your garments. The listing adds 2 pockets, one on each side.
