Crochet Tote Bag PATTERN, Bucket Bag Crochet Pattern, Boho Crochet, Boho Bag, Purse Pattern, Hand Bag, Slouchy Bag, Crochet Sac, Summer Tote.

This KnotYourselfOut crochet tote bag is named: BUCKET BAG BEAUTY.

I have to say it -- I think this bag is beautiful. I had a lot of fun designing it and I can’t wait to start using it. In addition to being very pretty, it is also very roomy. The tassel gives the bag a lovely slouchy look and can hang down on one side, or flip over the top to keep the two sides together.

Thank you for checking out my Bucket Bag Beauty crochet pattern!

This item is a CROCHET PATTERN for a handbag. It is NOT A FINISHED bag. It is a digital document that you purchase to download. The document consists of detailed written crochet INSTRUCTIONS and numerous how-to photos that together explain how to crochet the bag -- for someone special; you included!

This bag is not lined. It measures approx. 14.5” across (29” around), and it is 16" tall (29" with straps).

This crochet tote bag pattern is suitable for an INTERMEDIATE crocheter. It uses standard US English crochet terminology ONLY. It has been tested for clarity and accuracy by a professional crochet designer. In addition, and as mentioned earlier, it contains step-by-step how-to photos. I am confident this pattern will make for a happy crochet experience (and a very useful bag).

This bag is worked in the round. It consists of half double crochet stitches and wrapped double crochet stitches. The wrapped double crochet stitches are also explained in detail, just in case you are not familiar with them. They are not difficult.

Easy to follow pattern. I added some beads at the base of the strap. This bag came out super cute!

I made this purse and love it! My mother made a straw one many years ago and I mixed the pattern a little, incorporating a little bit of her style with this one. I followed this pattern all the way to the wrapped double crochet, at which point I only incorporated 4 rows of wrapped double crochet and then 7 more rows of the HDC. This is where I incorporated a different handle. I folded the bag in half and HDC from center to back center on each side, gradually decreasing stitches on each row until I was at 7 HDC stitches for 6 rows on each side and finished off. I crocheted a section for the padding - 14 rows of 7 HDC, inserted shoulder padding and finished off and added to the 2 shoulder straps. My daughter wanted it to carry her bible and note pads to Bible Study. It really turned out well.
