Description

I have 3 cruise ship menus from the heyday of the P&O cruise liners. Imagine dining on such delicacies as pressed tongue, boiled gammon or marrow farce - mmmmm tasty!

They are all wonderfully decorated, 2 illustrated by David Cobb, an artist well-known for his maritime paintings, the other with a humorous depiction of Poseidon blowing all sorts of treats out of a french horn!

The Norsemen by David Cobb from the SS Oronsay 18 May 1971
Sir Francis Drake by David Cobb from the SS Orcades 13 January 1970
Gala Menu SS Stratheden 5 December 1961

Wouldn't they make wonderful scrapbooking embellishments, theatre, film or photography props or for use in your vintage vignettes?

All are in vintage condition with a few creases and mild staining. The larger measure 26cm/10.25"x18cm/7" and the smaller 22cm/8.5"x15cm/6"

Please stay and browse awhile - I love to combine postage! www.etsy.com/shop/foundbyher
