Description

This piece was a finalist in the Milburn Art prize. Although at first it may appear abstract the basis for this painting is a woven basket, focusing on the beautiful lines of the weaving. The black of the painting is tinted slightly with some warmer reds and purples so it's not a harsh black and white.
