Easy to follow tutorial style instructions with lots of photos.
There is three files to download. One is with all the instructions, one is the pattern pieces for printing on US Letter sized paper and one is the pattern pieces for printing on A4 sized paper. The files with the pattern pieces you have to print and cut out. Make sure the page scaling is set to none, actual size or 100%.

• 12” (30 cm) of outer fabric
• 24” (60 cm) of lining fabric or two 12” (30 cm) pieces if you want the pockets in a different fabric
• 18” x 20” (45 x 50cm) of bag foam
• 15” x 35” (40 x 90 cm) of iron on woven interfacing
• 8” x 8” (20 x 20) cm piece of thin iron on batting
• 36” (90 cm) or longer zipper, 1 1⁄4” (3 cm) wide
• 2”(5cm) Loop and Hook tape, 1⁄2”–1”(1.2–2.5cm) wide
• 14”(35cm) elastic, 1⁄4”–3⁄4”(6-20mm) wide
• Sewing Machine with zipper foot
• General Sewing Supplies

Tablet Size:
• 10” (25 cm) or one fat quarter of outer fabric
• 12” (30 cm) or two fat quarters of lining fabric
• 12” x 20” (30 x 50cm) of bag foam
• 10” x 35” (25 x 90 cm) of iron on woven interfacing
• 8” (20 cm) square of thin iron on batting
• 30” (75 cm) or longer zipper, 1 1⁄4” (3 cm) wide
• 11⁄2”(4cm) Loop and Hook tape, 1⁄2”–1”(1.2–2.5cm) wide
• 12” (30 cm) elastic, 1⁄4” (6 mm) wide

The Laptop / Tablet case has two inside pockets, one for your device with a flap for security and one for documents, headphones etc.

At the end of the pattern I have included instructions on how to adjust the size and a variation of the pattern without pockets and a shorter zipper. This variation is not easier to sew.

Remember to not iron or use pins when using oil cloth/vinyl/pleather or similar. If using these materials you have to sew in the foam.
