Magnetic knife rack.

Tasmanian Oak with a clear oil and wax finish.

We use FSC certified Tasmanian Oak for making these knife racks for the following reasons.
Sustainability: FSC certification ensures that the wood used in the knife racks is harvested from sustainably managed forests, which helps to conserve biodiversity, protect wildlife habitats, and support local communities
Durability: Tasmanian Oak is a strong and durable wood that is resistant to wear and tear, making it ideal for use in knife racks that will be subjected to frequent use.

Pictures are of the 45cm size.

Each rack will vary slightly in appearance as timber is a natural product.

Sizes available are 30cm x 4.2cm x 2cm, 45cm x 4.2cm x 2cm, and 60cm x 4.2cm x 2cm.

FIXING
Screws with keyholes in the rear - the most popular method (see pictures).
Screws through the front - easier but you lose little bit of magnet space, (see pictures).
Double sided tape - good for clean, flat surfaces and is the easiest. Racks are supplied with tape already fixed to the rear. The tape will stick to walls, flat tiles, cupboards and glass splashbacks.

Displays your knives safely and securely.

As described, much needed addition to the kitchen to clear some space! I paid extra for the tape fixture but it wasn’t quite strong enough to hold my cleaver. Drilled into the tiles instead, much stronger.
