This is a foundation paper piecing quilt. But don’t be afraid, it’s one of the easiest blocks to learn foundation piecing with.

Quilt size: 45 1/4″ x 45 1/4″

Finished block: 9 1/2″ x 9 1/2″

Unlike my full priced patterns, this "tiny" pattern is presented in a condensed way. While it contains all the necessary details to make the quilt top in the given size, it may not be suitable for a complete beginner.

The pattern doesn't include cutting instructions.

Directions to make the storm at sea block is available on my video tutorial on my blog. You'll find the link in the pattern.Fabric cutting instructions are not included in my FPP templates and patterns.

My recommendation is that you roughly cut each shape or use any scraps of fabric big enough to cover the required shape plus 1/2” all around it.
