Description

The Chloe Dress pattern for ladies is a very loose fitting dress with partly set-in sleeves and a cut-out, cold-shoulder feature. The design is intended to be free and flowing, with plenty of ease through the body (that can easily be cinched in with a belt or self-fabric tie). The roomy sleeves are designed to sit low and drape down the arm.
The neckline and sleeves are bias bound with no need for a closure. It is a simple pullover style.
The dress pattern also features cutting line options to sew it up as a short dress or top. A self-fabric waist tie is included in the pattern for those that prefer a more fitted silhouette.

Recommended fabrics
Light to medium weight woven fabrics can be used for this pattern.
Woven fabrics with good drape will produce the best results. Silks (crepe, satin, and crepe de chine), rayon (challis, viscose) are excellent options.
Cottons (voile, lawn, shirting), and linen can also be used but will produce a crisper/fuller garment.
Extra fabric may be needed to match plaids, stripes or directional prints.

Finished this top and it’s huge. Its way too wide in the sides and I cut the smallest size (3). I also hate bias binding so I ended up cutting an inch and a half off the back and just lined it. And it was a bit long so I cute a couple inches off the length. I think I cut a little too much. But the big kicker is how wide it is. Way too big for a 3 year old.
