A beautiful hand-cast essential oil burner. The deep set copper dish makes it perfect for wax and soy melts.

The tealight gives a warm, beautiful glow and appears cradled in the palm of the hand. This is a quality product, which I handcraft with care and attention.

This piece is cast with a mixture of ochre, russet and black dyes. It is not a pure black in colour. It is also available in a lighter colour, and I stock other designs of oil burners, incense holders and candle holders in my shop. http://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/PhillipBrewerDesigns

It has a wax coating which is water and oil resistant but it is suitable for indoor use only. The copper will naturally tarnish over time with but can be buffed back up again to shine with a metal polish.

This item is designed for use with a standard tea light. Raising the flame may result in the wax coating being absorbed by the cast and is not advised.

Phillip Brewer Designs are one of a kind creations and not factory manufactured. I cast each piece in a handmade silicone mould using plaster of paris and dyes. As a result products will have subtle variations from one piece to the next. I like to celebrate the unique nature of each product I sell and you will have the knowledge that you are buying a one off, hand crafted item. The molds I use are months in the making and sculpted individually from clay, with applied several layers of silicone and made husks capable of supporting the weight of the items. Unfortunately the time commitment in bringing a product to life means that I cannot make custom designs, but please do keep an eye on my shop for new items as I have a number in the pipeline.
