Spacebobs Droids now has Once Again opened its Droid Division Workshop to bring you a super detailed and solid state Battle Droid STL File Set.
Files now come with a gratis MR Bones file set!, which includes the Head, Blade Arm and Bones!
Listing is NOT a physical item/prop, but it is, FILES for 3D PRINTING at home.
As files cannot be returned to me... I cannot refund money anymore unfortunately, be very sure of this before buying.
Important! This is the only place I sell my DroidDivision (Spacebobs) 3D files and they take me a very long time to make.
If you see another Etsy Shop offering fake DroidDivision (or Spacebobs) files, they are pretending to be me! and scamming me lol.
There will be no support at all if you buy those useless files, please only buy from me here directly.
As with all DD 3D files they are single person usage and not to be shared or sold, even if (especially if lol) modified.
The Droid STL files include everything you need to print the whole Droid, his Backpack/Antennas and a set of Commander Macrobinoculars as in the pictures (apart from fixings and strengthening poles).
He is a fully articulated Droid but some articulations are limited depending on personal options.
It can be filled and finished to your own standard but even looks great printed at 0.3 layer height and left with the layer lines as it’s a robot.
The files also include a PDF with instructions and pictures on how to complete the build and a list of ideal hardwares to make droid as in the accompanying etsy pics...
The files for the Back Pack are included but is also an optional item for printing.
For the Commander, Pilot Droid or many other versions of the Battle Droid you don’t need to print the Back Pack.
There are also Macrobinocular files to complete the Commander version.
Once properly assembled the droid is quite stable and requires no assistance to stand.
If you are planning to take him to conventions and such he can be easily taken apart without tools.
There are 2 versions of the legs, the preferred/normal version of the legs does not have the movable joints at the Ankle Knee and Hip but pose is fixed with slight angles to give the illusion of a pose-able stance. These leg parts are designed to slide over a 3/4 inch pole or pipe to make a super-stable base to the Droid..
The upper Droid is fully poseable as normal from the torso up.
The alternative version of the legs has fully pose-able joints but you forfeit some stability.
He stands at about 1.93 meters tall (6ft4in) to the top of his head and will use between 9 and 12 kgs of filament depending on printer settings and if you print the optional Back Pack
The whole thing is in parts easily printable on an on a smaller printer like the Ender 3 and also has versions sliced for a bigger printer like the CR-10.
I have a very simple Patreon for those that can afford it and that think my files are a bit to cheap... patreon.com/droiddivision
Check out his Tee shirt too https://teespring.com/droid-division-9?tsmac=
File downloaded will simply be a pdf (which you should save somewhere safe) with an introduction to the build which contains a link to the Pit Droids most updated STL and Information Dropbox Files.
