Amazing rustic and timeworn pottery jug, pitcher from the
1800s. Old Redware terra cotta with an amazing ancient patina
from many years of use and enjoyment. Solid piece with a lovely
decorative handpainted design (faded). Hand applied side handle.
Hand thrown.

Collectable antique European Redware pottery from the 1800s or earlier.

Farm table decor.

Measures; 6" height, 5.5" width (at widest point), 3.25" width opening
at the top.

Timeworn condition and patina. Lots of very old nibbles and chipping
around the rim (shown) . Otherwise it is a good strong solid piece for
display. We are selling in as found condition, please keep in mind this
is a very old piece that was utilitarian, it will show signs of aging and the passage of time. We have left as found and have not cleaned it, there is
marks, stains and fading of the design which do authenticate the aging
process.
