Milagros are a traditional Mexican folk art used as religious tokens of prayer, worship and thanks giving. Traditionally, milagros would be in the shape of the body part in need of healing. For example, if you were to pray for healing before a knee surgery, you would place a milagro in the shape of a leg on an alter with your petition.

These milagros are for more general use, in that you may use them for all your prayers, concerns and heart felt wishes. Place them on your alter, give them to friends and loved ones with your request for their well being, or light a candle to burn next to them. The more you use them and work with them, the more milagros cement and help manifest your wishes.

I bought this for a friend, but I decided to keep it because it fits perfectly on one of my meditation statues. These Milagros are the sweetest prayer charms that transmit a gentle energy of light. The seller crafted each one with very pretty cloisonné beads and pastel threads. I can tell she picked each piece out with care and thought.
