How to measure your head size:

If you are unsure about your head size, you can measure it accurately using a flexible tape measure (cloth/plastic). To ensure that you get the correct measurement, place the tape measure over the middle of your forehead, just above your ears, and rest it midway at the back of your head. Do not pull the tape too tightly unless you want your hat to fit snugly. It is recommended that you measure your head a few times to be as precise as possible. If you do not have a flexible tape measure, you can use a piece of string, although this method may not be as accurate. Once you have measured your head's circumference and marked the string, lay it flat and measure it to get the precise measurement.

Machine wash up to 30-40ºC on a gentle cycle
Lay flat to dry or tumble dry low in a gentle cycle program if needed
Take the clothes out while they are still damp and air-dry.
We recommend not ironing linen clothes to maintain softness and fluff. Although, if you still want to iron your linen products, do it with low temperature whilst it is still a little humid. It will iron better and there will not be any need to wet it while doing so. Iron it from the inside out, this way the surface of linen will be protected from gloss and decoloring.

So I reached out to the seller today to express my thoughts on this item. The fit on my head is loose normally hats are too small. The only way to wear this hat is to safety pin to make it more secure so it doesn’t fall off my head. It makes me wonder how a large would have fit. It’s not structured like a bucket hat, it’s floppy and you can mold the brim to your liking. It’s beautiful quality and the item came before it was due to arrive. Seller has been responsive. If the seller was local I would see if I could exchange for the large to see the fit size difference but I guess I learned my lesson…probably won’t buy hats from sellers that are out of the country.
