Multi-media Artist Judi Parkinson
Visual language has always been a part of my life, as I mention in my Shop Owner comments. I still remember learning to read at primary school and being excited when a tiny illustration would replace a word, such delight.
When I was a young mother with four boys under seven my painting moments were sometimes limited so I would paint mental paintings while watching the boys play. Checking the fall of light and shadows on their figures or toys, observing the colours hiding within a colour.
Over the years I have accepted many commissions as a freelance artist. Many have been sketched pen and ink illustrations or watercolours for government and organizations, real estate, builders' perspective paintings from plans, furniture stores and recipe books.
