Het worden de zinnen waar we op moeilijke ochtenden steeds weer naar terugkeren. De herinnering die we nodig hadden, maar die we niet helemaal tegen onszelf konden uitspreken. De bladzijde die we het liefst uit een boek zouden scheuren en aan de muur zouden hangen.
Daarom heb ik Beautiful Things Grow Here opgericht.
Elke prent begint met iets wat ik heb meegemaakt, waarover ik vragen heb gesteld, waar ik om heb gerouwd of wat ik langzaam heb leren geloven. Ze zijn geschreven voor mensen die zichzelf opnieuw opbouwen na verlies, trauma, chronische ziekte, liefdesverdriet, of simpelweg het stille proces om te worden wie ze altijd al hadden moeten zijn.
Dit zijn geen motiverende citaten.
Het zijn literaire aandenken.
Kleine stukjes taal, bedoeld om naast je favoriete boeken te hangen, boven je bureau, in je slaapkamer, of waar je ook maar een herinnering nodig hebt dat genezing zelden in één keer komt – het groeit, zin voor zin.
Elk ontwerp is met zorg samengesteld met behulp van een tijdloos kleurenpalet, tactiele texturen en een zorgvuldig gekozen typografie, waardoor de woorden net zo mooi aanvoelen om mee te leven als om te lezen.

Every print begins as something I've lived, questioned, grieved, or slowly learned to believe. They're written for the people rebuilding themselves after loss, trauma, chronic illness, heartbreak, or simply the quiet work of becoming who they were always meant to be.
These aren't motivational quotes.
They're literary keepsakes.
Small pieces of language created to live beside your favourite books, above your desk, in your bedroom, or wherever you need a reminder that healing rarely arrives all at once—it grows, one sentence at a time.
Each design is thoughtfully created using a timeless palette, tactile textures, and carefully composed typography, so the words feel as beautiful to live with as they are to read.
