On December 25th of 2019 is when I was first inspired to create digital prints. On a cold Christmas morning, I remember waking up in my parents home. It is a tradition for the family to come together Christmas morning to open gifts and eat a nice sized breakfast. I headed out of my bedroom and down the stairs to our cozy livingroom that was filled with simple Christmas decor. I sat on the couch beside my older sister and we both waited for my parents and two little brothers to come down the stairs. After a few minutes, everyone was gathered and it was finally time to start the gift giving.

After most of the gifts were opened, it was then my turn to open mine. However, I didn't see much under the tree for me. That's when my sister looked at me and told me to hold on. She had my gift hidden elsewhere. She dashed out of the living room and up the narrow stairs where our bedrooms were. Not too long after, she came back with a large wooden plank in her hand. The plank's back was turned towards me, so I had no idea what it was. She then turned it around and I gasped with much surprise. It was a beautiful wooden print that that read, " And so together they built a life they loved". As a newly married woman, I fell in love with the quote and the print as a whole!

A few months had passed and I had just moved into a new. My husband was deployed, so I took the time to decorate each part of our new home carefully. I hung wall art of all sorts, and then I remembered the gift that I was given. I proudly hung it over our couch and stared at it in awe. And that's when it hit me.

I began creating my own wall art and was proud of each piece. Before long, it became a business that I am proud of. Brandy Renee Shop was established in February 2020
