Ik heb altijd van processen gehouden als het gaat om het creëren van iets artistieks. Glas voedt zich hier op natuurlijke wijze in omdat het glas kiest, snijdt en rangschikt in ontwerp, waardoor warmte het glas kan smelten en vormen, slijpen en snijden om het glas zelf te vormen en dan, meestal, dit allemaal herhaaldelijk te laten gebeuren om de afgewerkte vorm te produceren. Glas is complex en er is altijd iets nieuws te leren werken. Het is een prachtig kunstmedium dat appelleert aan mijn coloristische benadering.

I have always loved process when it comes to creating something artistic. Glass naturally feeds into this as it is choosing, cutting, and arranging glass into design, allowing heat to melt and shape the glass, grinding and cutting to shape the glass yourself and then, usually, allowing for this all to happen repeatedly to produce the finished form. Glass is complex and there is always something new to learn working with it. It is a beautiful art medium that appeals to my colorist approach.
