Chalk + Co is Perth based design company specialising in handcrafting beautiful and functional signage. Established in 2014 by design creative Hayley Seekamp.

Chalk + Co. was born from Hayley's passion for design and typography. Since completing a BA in Graphic + Interior Spatial Design she became freelancing whilst simultaneously completing post-graduate study in Marketing + Events.

Her partner in crime and high-school sweetheart Koby is the man power behind Chalk + Co. He transforms Hayley's whimsical designs into practical solutions for their clients.

Chalk and Co is a boutique creative design company based in Perth, Western Australia. We love nothing more than ensuring your ideas come to life!

We specialise in custom illustration, event styling, bespoke signage and chalk art.


Although Chalk and Co is new to the scene we have been operating under HMS Creative Design since 2011 and hope to continue to provide clients with stunning products to turn their dream into reality.

Some items are Australia only. We have started to offer shipping for selected items to the United States and United Kingdom. Please dont hesitate to contact us and we may be able to help you if you are outside this area.


We can not be held liable if your items do not arrive prior to your event. We will do our best to ensure your items arrive well within your time frame however in the unlikely event your items don't arrive we are happy to provide a refund on return of the item/s. The items need to be in original condition and original packaging.


We can usually get back to you within 24-48 hours.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
We want to ensure all our customers are as delighted as we are! If you do have an issue with your product we would love to hear from you so we can work towards a resolution.

Please note there will be no refunds/ partial refunds or replacements if your text was not supplied correctly in the notes to seller section. (This also applies to messages sent correcting text, it must be correct in the notes to seller section at time of order. We can not guarantee messages will be given in time to the artist prior to the processing of your order. If error occurs client must pay return postage to rectify however we will cover postage back to the client) This also refers to digital proofs. If possible we will amend the design however there may be additional costs involved and confirmation from chalk and co must be received in order to change specifications. (Please see above for additional postage costs to have your item rectified) We are not held liable for any other discrepancies in mistakes within the artwork of the boards if the digital proof is approved. We do our best to ensure all clients receive a digital proof at no additional cost so it is the clients responsibility to ensure the FINAL digital proof is correct.

Refunds will be given to non personalised products should you wish to return them due to quality or change of mind. It is important you notify us within 3 days of receiving your order for this to occur. Goods must be in original condition and original packaging. Partial refunds will not be given, you must return the product in its original condition for a refund. A restocking and administration fee is required.
We do not offer refunds or returns on personalised products. Cancelations are not accepted however we will judge each case individually based on the reasoning. We are also required to charge an admin fee of 15% of the entire order.

Please note sometimes faulty or sub standard items make their way to you. Please contact us within three days of receiving your item to let us know. Please keep your packaging and note return to seller on the original packaging. This will be at no additional Cost. To cover your parcel please lodge it with Australia post and ensure that you have a receipt for proof of postage. We will then send out a replacement of your item or refund on return of your item.

We can only do this if you communicate with us any discrepancies in your order as soon as possible. Please understand all items must be returned in their original condition, original packaging and original shipping. For example, cards that have been written on will not be replaced or refunded. Items must be in a resealable condition or in case of damaged/faulty returned to us in the condition stated.

Missing or Lost parcels:
Please note it is the customers responsibility to investigate lost or missing parcels. If your order has not arrived within 10 business days please get in touch asap to let us know. We will do everything we can to ensure your parcel is located.

We can not be held liable for lost or missing parcels that include tracking in your order.

In the case of a lost or missing parcel you must notify us within 14 business days after your order. We can not assist in any way after this period of time.

If you wish to add insurance to your postage or a signature on delivery please get in touch prior to your order.

Please note: Specific conditions apply to these shipping options.
1. Uninsured Regular Shipping $20 AUD
Selecting this shipping option means that you agree to sending your acrylic box uninsured. This means that if breakages or lost parcel occurs we are not held liable and you must seek remedies if possible from the courier. Whilst we do everything we can to ensure the boxes are bubble wrapped and secure in each box unfortunately breakages happen from time to time. This parcel will be delivered within 5-7 business days, up to 10 business days during peak holiday periods.

2. Insured Shipping $29 AUD
Selecting this shipping option means that you agree for us to send your acrylic box insured. This means that if breakages or lost parcel occurs we will send a replacement* (where stock permitting) or a refund*. Again we always do everything we can to ensure the boxes are bubble wrapped and secure in each box however unfortunately breakages happen from time to time. This parcel will be delivered within 5-7 business days, up to 10 business days during peak holiday periods.

*Chalknco must determine the parcel is damaged by photographic evidence and the item may or may not be requested to be returned. Chalknco must also be required to investigate lost parcels with the courier and cross check addresses etc. Only once a letter of notification from the Courier company that the parcel is in fact lost can we organise a replacement or refund.

----------STRICT POLICY---------
NO refunds or replacements will be given to customers who receive damaged parcels in choosing option one - no insurance - $20 shipping.
We currently accept payment through PayPal and Direct Check-out (Credit, Debit and Etsy Gift Cards).

All orders are to be paid in full prior to any customisation. Some custom designs will show as a reserved listing which enables the customer to pay for the item before design work commences.
We can accomodate express shipping if you contact us prior to arrange a custom listing.

We use a courier or Australia post depending on the size and weight of your order to offer the cheapest an most effective shipping services.

In which case you have provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address additional shipping charges may be applied if your item requires redelivery.

We can not guarantee shipping times. We can try our best to upgrade your shipping and ship via air rather than road however once it is shipped your parcel is in the hands of the courier and we are unable to guarantee arrival prior to your date.

Shipping to regional areas is not included in our original shipping pricing. Regional shipping will be quoted once your order is complete and ready to ship.
We try our best to keep margins as low as possible and only charge the customer the exact shipping cost. We will notify you and should additional shipping be required you will be sent a custom listing.
The above apples for international orders. The above message is for large orders only - Large orders are above 4 kgs and 30x30cm squared.
Additional policies and FAQs
We aim to get to all our customers within 1-3 business days. However sometimes we can't - or sometimes our email doesn't allow us to run as we like! If you haven't received contact from us within three business days please don't hesitate to send us a follow up email asap.

I have something in mind, can you make it come to life?

Of course we can! Making gorgeous personal items for your event is what we love doing. Just flick us a message with your thoughts and ideas, we would love to chat!

Lead Time

Our lead time varies with wedding season. We are generally very busy during this period and become booked out for larger signage.

Please flick us a message if you have left it a little late we are happy to accomodate you if we can!

Currently we are sitting at a 3 week lead time for larger signs and all other products listed within the shop will aim to ship at lead times suggested within the item listing.

Help - I would like a different size/material!

We would love to source new and unusual materials for you. Contact us to see if your ideas are possible.


We try to ensure our shipping costs are as accurate as possible. However if your shipping fees are getting costly, we are happy to add a combined listing with actual shipping costs.

Once an item is shipped and tracking details are sent to you Chalk + Co is no longer responsible for your items. We are happy to look into lost/missing parcels and will address each case individually should something terrible happen!

Shipping - International

We do offer shipping internationally. Please send us a message to arrange a shipping and lead time quote.

Digital Proofs

All our signage above 50cmx70cm will come with a digital proof. This is to ensure that your items are exactly as described! We are able to make amendments prior to your approval for artwork to commence. Please ensure you check these carefully as they will be the basis we use for your artwork.

Custom and personalised orders

We have a range of easels, signage and other items available for hire to our Perth residents. Flick us an email for pricing.

Cards and Foiling

Please note that all our cards are handmade. There will be variations from card to card and all cards will be unique. If you are unhappy with the foiling of your card you are able to return the card if in original condition and original packaging for a full refund. It's important you contact us prior to writing in the card for us to be able to assist you. After this we can not refund or replace items.
