Soy neurodivergente y también soy madre de una hija con TDAH y autismo. Así que cuando digo que estos diseños fueron creados para esta comunidad, lo digo en serio. Esta tienda no surgió de una tendencia ni de una hoja de cálculo de investigación de mercado. Surgió de vivir esta vida día a día, junto a mi hija, y de desear algo que por fin nos representara.
Me cansé de la ropa para personas neurodivergentes que parecía clínica, genérica o hecha según la idea que otra persona tenía de cómo se ve el TDAH o el autismo. Así que creé la mía propia.
Cada diseño de esta tienda se inspira en experiencias reales: las obsesiones, el enmascaramiento, la sobreestimulación, la sobrecarga de información no solicitada, los cambios de horario que nos obligaron a luchar con uñas y dientes para sobrevivir. Si lo has vivido, lo reconocerás al instante.
Different Brain Co. existe para que las personas neurodivergentes se sientan vistas, celebradas y, tal vez, se rían un poco en el proceso. 💜

Hi, I'm Sandy the person behind Different Brain Co. 👋🧠
I'm neurodivergent, and I'm also the mom of a daughter with ADHD and autism. So when I say these designs were made for this community — I mean it. This shop didn't come from a trend or a niche research spreadsheet. It came from living this life every single day, right alongside my kid, and wanting something that finally felt like us.
I got tired of neurodivergent apparel that felt clinical, generic, or like it was made for someone else's idea of what ADHD or autism looks like. So I made my own.
Every design in this shop is rooted in real experiences — the hyperfixations, the masking, the overstimulation, the info-dumps nobody asked for, the schedule changes that took everything we had to survive. If you've lived it, you'll recognize it the second you see it.
Different Brain Co. exists to make neurodivergent people feel seen, celebrated, and maybe snort-laugh a little in the process. 💜
