As a fifth-generation Georgian, my roots run deep in the red clay, winding rivers, and rolling hills of the South. I paint landscapes in oil on canvas, drawing inspiration from the rich variety of scenes I’ve grown up with—from misty mountain mornings to sunlit marshes along the coast.
Influenced by the expressive brushwork and emotional intensity of Van Gogh, I often paint with bold texture and movement, allowing the landscape to speak beyond realism. His ability to capture feeling through color and rhythm deeply inspires my own approach to landscapes.
Each piece I create blends memory, mood, and place—whether it’s a weathered barn beneath a stormy sky or a golden field at dusk. My goal is to evoke a sense of quiet beauty and connection to places we have know or long to know.
