About

Play + Create + Explore!

Hello there! I’m Amanda Reishi, founder of Everyday Clay Studio and lover of all things clay. I work full-time at a psychology research centre by day, and run my studio by afternoon and night. A typical day for me is waking up early and dedicating the first few hours of the day to making ceramics, and returning to my studio after work to polish, sculpt, paint and glaze my pieces. Weekends are spent firing ceramics in the kiln, stocking up on supplies and packaging orders for shipping. In my practice, I love playing, creating and exploring new ways to craft collections that are fun, playful and vibrant for the everyday home. Each ceramic piece is handmade and one of a kind, and no two are exactly the same. I love being part of the Etsy community and am so grateful for their support for independent designers and small businesses. Every purchase, big or small, helps me continue doing what I truly love and to keep sharing my work with the world.

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Ceramics can last a lifetime if properly cared for. Although all pieces are microwave safe and dishwasher safe on the top rack, we recommend hand washing and avoidance of thermal shock (i.e., sudden changes in temperature and humidity) to prolong the life of your product.

If you have any questions about caring for your ceramics, feel free to send us an email – We’re always happy to help!

Returns and Refunds

If you're happy, we’re happy! We accept returns and will gladly refund the amount paid (excluding shipping costs) if your order is lost in transit (i.e., hasn’t arrived within the estimated time of arrival and is deemed lost by the courier) or arrives in a damaged or faulty condition.

If your order is taking longer than expected or is damaged/faulty, please email everydayclaystudio@gmail.com within 25 days of its (intended) date of delivery, along with your order number. We'll then follow up with the courier, organise a refund or, if you prefer, ship a replacement order to you at no additional charge.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We’re more than happy to prepare orders as gifts! Gifts are beautifully wrapped in coloured paper using twine/raffia, and tagged with a personalised gift message (max. 150 characters) written by you.

We also offer Christmas wrapping – Yoopie! Christmas gifts are wrapped using festive wrapping paper and twine/raffia, and can also be tagged with a personalised gift message. This year, we’re offering some super cute candy cane and Christmas tree papers that will make your presents stand out under any tree!

You can request gift wrapping by marking your order as a gift and filling out the notes to seller section at checkout. Include your gift message and let me know if your order is a standard or Christmas gift – yes, it’s that easy!

Packaging and shipping materials

We use earth-friendly materials that are compostable, biodegradable and recyclable, and that have been recycled and/or certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.

You won’t find bubble wrap or synthetic foam in any of our shipping boxes. Instead, items are wrapped using recycled padded paper and cushioned with plant-based packing peanuts, which can be dissolved in water and used as a natural fertiliser for your plants (bonus!). Wherever possible, we also incorporate used cardboard materials from local shops and retailers that would otherwise be thrown out as waste.
