Sustainable Handmade Knitwear

Hi there!

I'm Zoe May, Fozzel & Bean's sole owner, designer and creator. I study fashion design at RMIT, and have big dreams of turning this little knitwear label into a full-time business and a sustainable and ethical brand.

All Fozzel & Bean designs are handmade by me from natural fibers, from beautiful quality Australian merino wool to plant-dyed organic cotton. I love sourcing new and exciting natural fibers to experiment with.

On a chilly evening I can usually be found rugged up in front of a good movie with little Bean, a hot chocolate and my knitting needles.

All items are thoughtfully designed and made by hand using natural, Australian-sourced materials.
The Fozzel & Bean philosophy is sustainability. I use only high-quality natural fibres for their comfort, breathability and lower environmental impact.

All items arrive beautifully packaged in recycled materials.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Send items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
As the sole member of Fozzel & Bean, I inspect each and every item before it is packaged. Great care is taken to ensure that your item is safe from moisture and other damage during shipping.
In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, or grossly misrepresented, a refund will be accepted within 7 days. You will be responsible for the return of the item in its original condition. Upon receipt of the item you will be refunded the amount of the original purchase, not including shipping.
Payment
I accept payment via Paypal and credit card via Etsy direct checkout.
Payment is preferred upon time of purchase.

Cancellations must be made within 2 days of purchase. If an item has already been shipped, cancellation will not be possible.
Delivery
Processing times are included clearly in each item description. Many of my items are made to order, and some may take up to 7 days before shipment. A confirmation message will be sent upon payment, including expected date of shipment.

Ready-to-ship items will be posted within two business days of payment.

All orders are shipped using Regular Post to the address listed on your ETSY acccount (not Paypal). If you would like your item posted to another address, please specify clearly in the message to seller section of your order.

Estimated delivery times:
Within Australia - 2 to 5 business days.
Asia / Pacific - 1 to 2 weeks.
United States / Canada - 1 to 3 weeks.
UK / Europe - 2 to 4 weeks.

The above are estimated times only as advised by Australia Post and generally orders do arrive well within those time frames. However, please be aware that delays can occur from time to time, especially around the holiday season.

If you require express or registered post, please message me prior to checkout for a shipping quote.

Buyers are responsible for any customs fees and taxes that may occur upon arrival in your country. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.
