Creating mala beads is incredibly meditative to me. I love adding intention and care with each bead I string, finishing in a piece that truly is a labour of love.

The word mala means meditation garland in Sanskrit, they are used to aid you in your meditation practice or help solidify a mantra or affirmation. The malas i make have 108 beads and include a single guru stone, shell, bead or seed.

Each set of mala beads is not rushed and I create new ones only when I'm inspired, resulting in beads that are made with love and organic in design. I really believe this is vital when wearing and using mala beads!
