Come and take a peek inside Harry's Suitcase!


My name is Kelly and I welcome you to take a look inside Harry’s Suitcase.

I am someone who has always enjoyed dabbling with crafty ideas and have lugged craft supplies around from home to home with the thought that one day they might be useful in a project. Since my son, Harry, was born I have found myself dipping into these boxes more frequently with Harry as my muse and inspiration.

I began making and selling teething jewellery at the markets in Melbourne when Harry was 4 months old. I filled a need for myself and thought to help others at the same time. After moving to the Blue Mountains I have found my interests are evolving as Harry grows.
My inspiration comes from whatever stage Harry is in his development.

My latest passion are our recycled children’s book chalk boards. This is something I made when Harry’s favourite book fell apart and I was too sentimental to throw it away! I have received many comments from strangers in cafes and on trains when Harry was quietly drawing in his chalkboard. I thought it was another idea worth sharing.

I wonder what I will be making when Harry is 21?

Due to the second-hand and re-purposing of our products, many imperfections are present. Scuffed corners, indentations on covers even little teeth marks! Clues to the previous life your item lived and their former custodian.

How magical to think that what you now own, once brought joy to another.
How lovely to imagine what wonderful bedtime memories your item was a part of.

Returns and exchanges
Please choose carefully. We do not refund if you change your mind. If your order is faulty in any way you can return the item to us in its original condition. If you are returning an item please keep proof of delivery and the item needs to be posted back within 7 days of you receiving it- but obviously we don't need to receive it in 7 days. Postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. In the event of a refund we do not refund the postage costs. In the very rare and unlikely event that your parcel doesn't arrive we will refund or send another item after 6 weeks have passed, items can be delayed in customs for up to 3 weeks.

Payment must be made in full and have cleared before the item is shipped. If you are having any issues with PayPal, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will assist you in anyway that we can.

Customers in Australia can pay by direct bank transfer if they wish, please contact us if you want to use this method.
We post to the address given to us by Etsy not paypal. If for some reason the order is returned to us because the address given on Etsy was incorrect postage will need to be paid again before we re-post the order. If the address provided is incorrect ( or an old one) we cannot be responsible if the order goes missing. in the highly unlikely event of your order not arriving at all, we may offer a full refund or a replacement. We do not refund the postage price.

We do not send a receipt with the item ( as you would have received an email from etsy and paypal at time of purchase) however we do have to write the amount the package is worth on the green customs form that is placed on the outside of the envelope. ******Please understand that marking "gift" on the customs form will get us into big trouble! Please don't ask us to mark items as a gift. Customs do spot checks and we risk heavy fines if we are caught giving false information. Thank you in advance for your understanding.***

Australia wide: up to 7 days
USA Canada and UK : 7- 15\ 20working days
Europe: 15-20working days.
Asia : 14 + days

Australia Post DOES NOT OFFER INTERNATIONAL TRACKING as standard, however you can upgrade your shipping and have your order tracked, as this varies in price please contact us prior for a quote, minimum cost is $60AUD.

Once a package is shipped we can not be responsible if your package does not arrive in time for a special occasion. We do our very best to get items shipped as quickly as possible. We ask that you are aware of these postage times and conditions prior to placing your order. Sometimes parcels are delayed for several weeks in customs, this seems to be the case in Germany, we have no control over this. If you do not receive your package please notify us within 30days of ordering.

PLEASE NOTE : When your package arrives you may have to pay additional customs fees or import taxes for which you are responsible. ( some European countries ) We unfortunately have no control over these fees and of course do not receive any further payment, if you think this may be the case or you have not ordered from overseas before please check with your post office prior to ordering. At times some European countries can delay items in customs for over a week- again, we have no control over this.
