We founded Heavy Ritual out of pure frustration with standard gym apparel. Most athletic shirts on the market are either flimsy polyester that clings awkwardly, or generic box-store tees that lose their shape after two washes. We wanted something heavier. Something structured. Something that could handle a brutal session on the platform and still look like a high-end luxury streetwear piece when you walk out the gym doors.
Lifting is not a social club. It is a solitary discipline, a daily ritual between you and the cold iron. Our garments are engineered to reflect that mindset: minimalist architectural aesthetics, heavy vintage textures, and zero commercial gimmicks.
THE HEAVY RITUAL STANDARD:
• The Garment: Crafted on authentic 6.1 oz/yd² 100% ring-spun cotton (Comfort Colors 1717). Pre-shrunk with twill shoulder-to-shoulder taping and double-needle stitching for an engineered, boxy drape that holds its structural silhouette through heavy sets.
• The Wash: Vintage garment-dyed Pepper Black. Each piece has a unique lived-in patina with soft broken-in cotton that gets better with every wash.
• The Print: Direct-to-garment water-based screenprint inks that soak directly into the cotton fibers rather than sitting on top like cheap plastic vinyl. Zero peeling, zero cracking, zero stiff chest plates.
• The Cut: Drop-shoulder boxy fit engineered specifically for the pump. True to size for a classic relaxed fit; size up 1 to 2 sizes for the signature oversized streetwear drape.
