About

A Long Time Coming

This is something that I have wanted to do for a very long time. To have my work available for sale online, in a reputable way and to reach a broad audience. I can think of no better way than to do that than via 'Etsy'.

I visit the odd art and craft markets here in Australia and have a few retail connections with some great little boutique stores and galleries, but to have an online presence is very important in today's world. I am a busy mother and wife and to sell my work from home would give me great self satisfaction and enjoyment.

It is my hope that I can reach a vast range of people from all over the world. It is my wish that my work brings as much satisfaction and pleasure to other's as it gives to me 'The Maker'. I love what I do and it would be a dream to be able to do what I am passionate in a business like way.

Why not keep up with what's happening in my studio via my blog site at https://www.janwallacepottery.blogspot.com

My love affair with clay started in high school over 20 years ago. I have a small studio in my garden and three kilns, which enables me to commit to my craft. I love what I do and can't imagine ever giving up my craft and my passion for clay.

All my pieces are made with care and love. It is my wish that the piece you choose brings you as much pleasure as I have experienced during the creative process.

Made by hand, so no two pieces will be exactly alike. Alot of time and effort is put into what I do and I endeavour to price my work as reasonably as possible.
