I recently prepared myself to do the Asian Jungle by ordering the supplies on your supply list. You should mention in the tutorial how ridiculously small these texture stamps are and that in order to end up with the length of veneer in your video, you would have to make several veneers using each stamp in order to produce the bead you are making, which if done means that the colours of the bead will not match up. Also, when you are indicating supplies needed on the supply list, stating the size of cutters would also be helpful. You also manage to keep the chalks out of view so one can barely get a look at the colours you are using as you seem to keep your hands in the way much of the time. For a paid tutorial I expected a more polished and detailed video. Will not be paying for anymore tutes, sorry !

I’m sorry that you’re disappointed in the tutorial. All of my tutorials are tested by at least 100 clayers, from beginners to advanced before I publish them on Etsy, and none of them has had a problem with completing the project. However, I value my customers which is why I offered to refund you. I feel that your review is an unfair reflection of the tutorial. You should have been able to create this pendant quite comfortably using one pebble and one wood veneer. It is not necessary to make multiple veneers. The size of the texture stamps is clearly shown in the listing. The tutorial is designed to be used with any shape or size of cutter. I did provide an exact shape template. The chalks that you could not see were clearly visible while I was creating the veneers.

About

How I Became a Polymer Clay Artist

Hi everyone, I’m Samantha, the creator of JessamaDesign and JessamaTutorials.com. I love all things polymer clay, cats and nature.

I hope you'll stay a while and read about how I came to know about polymer clay and how this shop came about.

My fascination with beads goes way back to when I was only four years old. Once a month or so, my mom would take me to a little beading shop down the road from us. There I would painstakingly spend hours (literally) picking out my little allotment of beads for the month.

Eventually, I outgrew the little beading shop and we began to shop online for my supplies. One day, when I was about twelve years old, the polymer clay section of FireMountainGems.com caught my eye. We added a couple of blocks of Kato clay to the order and the rest, as they say, is history.

Little did I know that those first few blocks of clay would lead to JessamaDesign and my own website JessamaTutorials.com.

I was hooked from the first day. I started playing around with the clay, and had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I was fascinated by the endless possibilities.

The name Jessama has a bit of a story behind it. Although I (Samantha) am the creator and artist of the business, there is a team behind the scenes working hard to keep everything running smoothly. I am privileged to be able to call my Mom and my sister, Jessica, my partners. We're a happy little family business, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

So, Jessama is a combination of the three of us. Jess - Sam - Ma. Cool huh? Believe it or not, my Dad came up with that. It's his contribution to the website, along with cheerleading. He isn't very arty!

So what can you expect from JessamaDesign in the future? Well, I already sell my jewelry and tutorials here. I plan to start doing texture stamps and polymer beads as well. There be many more surprises in the near future for this shop so be sure to check back soon.
