This pattern is super clear and easy to follow, and I’ve learned some cool new techniques in the process! I ended up adding an extra pattern round 1-4 to the complete hand part (size xs) to suit my individual preference, but I don’t think it’s necessary for everyone. The fit is spot on, especially around the thumb! So comfy, would recommend!

Inspired by the simple things...

Hello, I’m Jo and welcome from the beautiful Nepean Valley, at the edge of suburban Sydney! If I’m not gazing out of my studio window admiring the Blue Mountains or wandering around my garden, you’ll find me thinking about creating my new favourite pair of socks - the accessory that I most love to design, knit, wear and gift!

What started out as a love for knitting has developed into a passion! There is just something so incredibly comforting about wearing a handknit item that has been infused with tenderness in every stitch.

The simple things in life are what inspires me - the textures found in nature, the bright colours of a glorious sunset and the feeling of a beautiful yarn in my hands.

My designs combine the longing to create handknits that are both comfortable and warm with the fun of expressing myself artistically.

I hope I can share with you the enjoyment of creating combined with the relaxing comfort of knitting.
