The pattern did not represent the picture that was on the pattern, it really needs re writing

The pattern supplird was not the pattern for the donkey pictured. The pattern says the body is knitted in the round from rump to head but the picture clearly shows rows going across the body. The neck is 3 rows, the picture shows a long curving neck. I am an experienced knitter and was able to make adjustments.
