Objets textiles et papèterie LUMA Surface Pattern, fait en France, en petite série.
I like the accumulation of objects from a cabinet of curiosity, the density of a lush jungle, the details of a herbarium, the sprawling aspect that nature can sometimes take on. But what makes my work unique is the treatment I have of the motifs stemming from the aforementioned elements. A leaf becomes both geometric shape and fragment of nature.
The result is a hybrid pattern that is then multiplied in the manner of the kaleidoscope. I like this idea of reflection, mirror and play with it.
My travels inspire me with my collections because they are sources of inspiration and discoveries of know-how: Moroccan zelliges, paisley in India or azulejos in Mexico...
I am attached to craftsmanship and design myself the patterns in all over "at the fitting" and the products of my collections.
For the printing of my fabrics, I call on a sublimation specialist who gives me
guarantees a high quality of definition and resistance. For the bosses these a modeler who produces them to me on paper from a prototype that I deliver to her. A French production that is close to my heart.
Each object in my collections is thought out in every detail to guarantee a high quality finish.
LUMA surface & pattern design est un studio de création de dessins textiles, motif placé ou allover à destination du textile ou tout autre domaine : papeterie, décoration, arts de la table.
En plus des collections de motifs destinés aux pros, je crée de petites séries d'objets textiles et de la papèterie, pour lesquels je dessine les motifs et le produit. Ces objets sont faits en France dans de belles matières et en série limitée.
