We’re obsessed with the unique and beautiful qualities of letterpress card printing and are very excited to share our cards with you!

All of our cards are printed on 120 gram crane lettra 100% cotton stock, which is basically the Rolls-Royce of letterpress paper to get the best possible look and feel.

All cards are cute little A6 sized and come with an envelope and are packaged in a plastic sleeve. Please let us know if you have any requests like envelope color or no plastic sleeve.

About us

Lion & Lamb Designs (although not always by that name) started out in Sydney, Australia in 2014 after Rachel and Zach got engaged and received so many of the same card! Rachel is a graphic designer, and started designing and printing non-letterpress greeting cards through a local print shop - stocking in gift stores and news agencies, and collaborating with businesses for custom cards to send to clients.

Not long after we established that budding business, we moved to Baltimore! Zach is American so we decided to begin married life with a new adventure. Although we put the cards on hold as we settled in to the U.S. and had our son, Ari, it was always on the back of our minds.

Fast forward another year and we moved to Rhode Island! There we found the incredible space AS220 in Providence where Rachel could finally learn to print with an old fashioned letterpress machine! She has had a love affair with letterpress printing and the look & feel of it since studying visual design at university, so we jumped at the opportunity to create even more beautiful and unique cards than before - and Lion & Lamb Designs was born!

Why the name?

Rachel means ‘little lamb’ in ancient Hebrew and Ari (our son's name) means ‘Lion’. Our cards are made for real events in our lives and are made with so much love.
