Following Passions

I started this shop at the request of the wonderful people who I've met at markets, bookshops and conferences.

At my online shop, you can purchase many of my artistic creations that you would normally see at my markets stalls.

Before becoming an artist, writer and book reviewer I experienced a variety of jobs including; a stay at home Mum, School Teacher, Art Gallery Tour Guide, Communications and Education and Projects Officer of a Landcare Group, Teacher Librarian, and President of the Children's Book Council of Australia ACT Branch.

After many years of promoting children's literature - especially picture books - and haunting art galleries, I decided that it was time for me to pursue my own creativity. I took me a year to begin rediscovering my passion for drawing and painting. Towards the end of my first creative year (2017) I exhibited my first watercolour and ink paintings alongside a number of Children's Illustrators.

In late 2018 I attended my first market where I shared my paintings, giclee prints and blank note cards. I now attend markets several times a year, sharing the joy of my creativity.

    I am an artist, writer & founder of the Canberra Children’s Illustrators Group. My paintings are created in a whimsical style using ink, watercolour and acrylic paints. I live in Canberra and often include a ladybug or bees in my artwork.
