Bringing abandoned wood back to life, one piece at a time.
About me...
It's always been a dream of mine to have my own business, but until recently, it was only a dream... The money and risks involved in starting a traditional business were obstacles that I could not overcome. Thanks to Etsy, I'm able to pursue my dream on the weekends, while still working full-time during the week.
I live in a little town called Zeeland, Michigan. All of my items are hand-crafted in a small workshop I've built in the basement of my home. I've been woodworking for over 10 years. I've done everything from building a birdhouse when I was a kid, to building an entire house from the ground up. No challenge is too big. I've started this shop as a way to put some money away for my daughter's college education, and to buy a 6 pack of expensive beer every once in a while.
Rustic decor and abstract art are both interests of mine, so I decided to combine the two and build artistic items with a rustic feel. I take my time when building my pieces and pay attention to details. I take pride in my work and stand by all of my pieces.
I source materials from old barns, shipping crates, torn down buildings, pallets, and basically any other wood I can find. If it has some character, I'll bring it back to life.
As you can tell from my shop name, I am a craft beer enthusiast. Since all of my items are built on the weekend, I usually enjoy a beer while putting the finishing touches on one of my items.

Cheers!
