Nature inspiring the language of forms

Mai Yazawa’s illustrations are inspired by nature and exploit its decorative possibilities through patterns and motifs. Her subjects are usually native Australian flora and fauna that are arranged into repeating and tessellating designs. While most artworks are quite large, they are completely hand drawn using Copic Multi-liner pens of extremely fine nibs (.03 to .3)

The artworks for sale here are limited edition prints of either A2 or A3 size.

They are printed on premium quality Hahnemuhle German Etching paper (310gsm/matte) using high quality pigment inks (Giclee), ensuring longevity of the print.

Prints are packed in clear acid free bags in combination with a backing board before being carefully wrapped and shipped.

Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.
