Handmade art for other makers, creators and crafters to use in their work.

I have loved to draw as long as I can remember. It does not always come easy or quick. I can spend hours working on a composition on a very simple image. Once a drawing is complete and I scan it into a digital form and I find myself again spending hours cleaning up the vector file until I am happy with every single line.

The images in this shop are ones I want to share as a creative resource with all of you who create, whether it is as a hobby or commercially, as a scrapbook or as leather craft, jewellery or a tattoo. It can sometimes be difficult to find images you are allowed to use commercially and sometimes you simply do not have the time to create your own. These images are simple black and white line-art to give you the freedom to colour them or adapt them to your work as you see fit.

Some of the images are completely my own and some are my versions of images already in the Public Domain. Regardless of the image being one I have created from scratch or a well known symbol, I have drawn each line myself, with pencil, ruler and compass.

I will try and add new work when I can. This shop is my offshoot from being a jeweller blacksmith in my other shop Taitaya ( http://taitaya.etsy.com ). The income of this shop goes towards my retirement when I can no longer wield a hammer.

In good faith if you are not happy with your purchase, if you cannot use cannot use your image or if there is a fault in it I will fully refund your purchase.

Licensing, Commercial use and Copyright

All images in this shop are released with a Creative Commons Attribution only license (blue banners) or are in the Public Domain (green banners).

You are not restricted in how you can use the images and you are allowed to adapt, share and build upon the images, even commercially.

The blue bannered (Creative Commons) images require attribution online only. For example:

If you print the image on a bag, you do not have to write my name on it, but if you publish the bag with the image online in a shop or social media, please mention that the image is created by M.Barran. A link to my shop would be lovely, but is not required.

Custom and personalised orders

All custom work, such as logo design, starts at £500 (GBP). I will also need to reserve 8 weeks for completion.

If you need a file in a different size, resolution or format, there is no extra charge. If I can do it, I will need to reserve 3 working days.
