Acerca de la tienda: Bienvenido a Not Taking A Trip, donde el viaje hacia la recuperación se celebra con toques vibrantes, divertidos y extravagantes. El nombre de la tienda se inspiró en el capítulo "Más sobre el alcoholismo" del Gran Libro de Alcohólicos Anónimos, lo que refleja la comprensión de que se pueden lograr experiencias espirituales radicales sin sustancias que alteren la mente. Mi meditación consiste en sentarme y pintar, y creo estas cubiertas para reavivar su pasión por la literatura de recuperación con una perspectiva fresca.
Not Taking A Trip, ubicado en la pintoresca costa del sur de California, es un proyecto realizado con amor y diseñado por mí, Stacey. Como mujer comprometida con este camino, me dedico a crear cubiertas de libros únicas, ecológicas y aptas para veganos que te harán querer coger tu libro una y otra vez. Cada material se selecciona cuidadosamente para ser amable con la Tierra y todas sus criaturas, así como con tu alma (¡aquí no hay cuero!).
Cada portada está diseñada para servir como un alegre recordatorio de la belleza y la conexión divina dentro de cada uno de nosotros, independientemente de nuestras creencias en Dios o en un Poder Superior. Mis inspiraciones van desde la sabiduría de Alan Watts y Carl Jung hasta el talento artístico de Frida Kahlo y la compasión de Jane Goodall. La belleza del océano en Costa Rica, el asombro del cielo estrellado nocturno en Joshua Tree, la alegría de cuidar un jardín y el amor incondicional de mis hijos y abuelas contribuyen al corazón y el alma de mis creaciones. También tengo debilidad por todo lo antiguo, retro, vintage y místico.

The shop name was inspired by the chapter "More About Alcoholism" from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, reflecting the realization that radical spiritual experiences can be achieved without mind altering substances. My meditation is sitting and painting, and I create these covers to reignite your passion for recovery literature with a fresh perspective.
Nestled along the picturesque coast of Southern California, Not Taking A Trip is a labor of love curated by yours truly, Stacey.
