That’s not the only thing that attracted me to computer art (as I call it), but it was the most attractive. Anyone who has painted in oils or acrylic has experienced the ‘clean up’ - and, of course, it’s always done after a long day at the canvas.
I've been involved in artistic expression since I was about 5, and supported myself with various jobs all oriented around design. Designing products for Disney (mouse and surrounding staff included) and presentations of other company's products including concept, art execution, photography and at times copy writing.
Just in case you can't tell from my vintage photo, I am now retired but I can't sit still. So, I upgraded from a 'slightly' used 12 year old desktop to this lovely huge screen with a piece of partially eaten fruit on the front. Yes, an Apple, which I LOVE.
My interests are not only in abstract art, and sometime in the relatively near future I will be adding some of my houses. I am working on several different 'villages'. All are escapism oriented. Places you would love to go to and never come back. Where there is no crime, no illness and the mortgage is always paid.
Now, My Shop Name - Cindra is a combination of Cindy and Sandra.
It it wasn't for Cindy, Sandra wouldn't be here. So I honored my rescue dog with my shop name.
Cindy came into my life as a stray with several toes partially missing and bloody. I found her on a cold rainy night chilled to the bone. I took her home and about two months later she stood between myself and a home invader who was carrying a large plumbers wrench. Skipping to the chase, she put her life on the line that day and saved mine. My hero, 26 pounds of silvery white fluff with a lion's heart.
Thank you for visiting my shop and just think about it - if you make a purchase you will own your own "Original Cin"
Be Good To Yourself, Sandra
