Provengo de una familia de artistas, cada uno con su propio talento. Mi abuelo paterno era un hábil carpintero que trabajaba con sierra de calar y creaba piezas de gran complejidad. Mi abuelo materno se ganaba la vida creando hierro forjado ornamental, y mi madre tiene talento artístico para los mosaicos, la tinta de alcohol y la arcilla polimérica. Así que, naturalmente, yo también tenía una vena creativa.
Comencé mi negocio trabajando con cuero sintético para hacer pendientes ligeros de este material. Si bien todavía me encanta el aspecto y la versatilidad de los pendientes de cuero sintético, sentí que Dios me impulsaba a cambiar de rumbo.
Mi fe se ha convertido en una parte fundamental de mi vida, y quiero compartirla con los demás. A veces lo hago con una sonrisa, un versículo o simplemente con optimismo. Los artículos para el hogar que creo transmiten la verdad de Dios de una manera ingeniosa y acogedora, sin resultar pretenciosos.

Welcome and THANK YOU for stopping by Olive Creative Studio! My name is Jennifer, the creator and designer of Olive Creative Studio, and I am so happy to have you here!
I come from a line of artists, all in their own right. My paternal grandfather was a skilled scroll saw woodworker who could create the most intricately detailed pieces. My maternal grandfather made a living creating ornamental iron and my mother has her artistic hands in mosaics, alcohol ink and polymer clay. So, it’s only natural I had a creative streak, as well.
I started my business working with faux leather to make lightweight faux leather earrings. While I still love the look and versatility of faux leather earrings, God was tugging at my heart to shift gears.
My faith has become a pivotal part of my life, and I want to be able to share that faith to others. Sometimes that's with a smile, a verse or just some positivity. The home living items I create share the truth of God in a sometimes witty, welcoming way without being too stuffy.
