PIGMENT MONICA REEVE - Tasmanian artist

Hello! I'm Monica, a Tassie artist, author, illustrator & art teacher.

The North-West Coast of Tasmania has always been my home and is where I live with my little family and menagerie. My work is inspired by my local environment from little things such as my cottage garden, day tripping adventures, native birds and flowers through to majestic mountain ranges and seascapes.

I love creating and have been creating art ever since I was a child. Heavily influenced by my artist mother, our home was always a creative hive. I love creating original artworks and designing products which make my art functional - think one of a kind brooches, hand coloured wooden flower presses, totes, greeting cards etc.

Where possible I always support Tasmanian and Australian business partners when purchasing resources required for the creation of my art works.

I am committed to ethical and sustainable practices in relation to the reduction of plastic.
I consciously look for and use plastic alternatives, such as recyclable, compostable and biodegradable products in my making, products and packaging.

All of my items are made in a smoke free environment.

I quality check EVERY item sent out - I am super fussy and would never send out an item unless I am 100% happy with it.

Care instructions

PIGMENT PINS are made from wood product, which has been hand coloured, and sealed. To protect your unique piece of wearable art it is highly recommended you avoid contact or immersion in water along with scratches and abrasive surfaces.

COIN PURSES, POUCHES, TOTES and CUSHION COVERS are hand or gentle machine washable. Cool iron.

GREETING CARD - store in clean dry space.

BUNTING - recommended for indoor use only - avoid water. It is NOT a toy as cord my cause injury.

BUG SOUP BEAT - Itty Bitty Bugs - Not for suitable for children 3 years or younger due to small parts

Gift wrapping and packaging

All online orders are packaged carefully to ensure your purchase arrives in perfect condition.

Wherever possible, orders will be shipped plastic free.

BROOCHIES (I'm one too..so I get it!) All care is taken to ensure your brooch is suitably wrapped.

BROOCH Hand Crafting Process

As each brooch is individually hand crafted and coloured, no two brooches are the same. Therefore, the brooch you receive may be slightly different from the stock image due to the hand colouring process and "makers" marks typical of original art works.

I am not responsible for items lost or delayed during shipping, however are more than happy to follow up with Australia Post on your behalf.
If you require "insurance" please message me for costings.

Yes - contactless collection can be arranged. Please message me through through Etsy and I will refund any shipping charges.
