Embroidery is My Passion
I started sewing when I was about six years old making dresses for my dolls. I sewed them by hand because my mother would not let me use her sewing machine. She thought it was too dangerous for me to use.
My grandmother was a seamstress and designer from Sicily. I loved watching her make clothing for everyone. Since she hardly spoke English, I learned from her by watching her creating and sewing techniques carefully.
Growing up I always loved to sew and create things with my mother. In my teens I would make my own clothing and embroider designs on them. When I had my daughter, I would make every little dress for her and all embroidery was done by hand. I also made plenty of outfits for friends and family as well as home decor items. Today, I sew plenty of quilts and embroidered onesies for my three grandchildren.
I studied art and design in college and explored other areas of art from interior design to oil painting.
My husband bought me my first machine embroidery machine in 2000. I embroidered a few things, but then I lost interest and decided I loved to quilt instead. In 2016 I purchased my second embroidery machine to add embroidery designs to my quilts. I soon realized that all those cute designs I was creating would be great as patches to allow other to purchase and add to their quilts and other projects.
I love what I am doing now and can’t stop creating more and more adorable patches for you to add to all your items and projects.
Have fun looking around my shop!
