About

We were born from a simple love of ink on paper

At Pink Teapot Design and Letterpress, we like doing things differently. We favour attentive care, a thoughtful creative process, slow-paced perfectionism to create art that we can both see and feel. Our muse? A beautiful 800kg cast iron piece of printing history that’s turned a letterpress dream into a reality.

We like to get our hands dirty. All inks are mixed by our careful hands, and each piece of velvety-soft card is fed into our antique presses one by one. We take our time creating your wedding invitations, birthday cards and business stationery to ensure they’re just right, because we’re perfectionists like that.

Letterpress printing is a truly timeless craft, and a wonderful tribute to those special events in life.

Pretty first impressions are our favourite kind, and that’s exactly what letterpress printing does. Leaving a unique and memorable mark is hard, whether you’re a bride, a businesswoman or need to send a thank you card to mum.

If you want to tip your hat to someone in the stationery form, a beautiful and thoughtfully created letterpress print is perfect for all occasions.

Postage is via standard Australia Post and generally can take 1- 5 days to deliver within Australia. If you are needing your items urgently or by a particular date, I recommend requesting an express post option for $6.

International buyers: we love you, but I can not guarantee any standard delivery times. If you are needing your item by a certain time, I suggest upgrading to an international courier service - message me for a price.
Additional policies and FAQs
Each piece is letterpress printed with love, one by one, either by our 1905 Chandler & Price called Meryl or our 1955 Heidelberg Windmill called Klaus. Solid colours can sometimes appear uneven (this is known as 'saltiness' ) and small 'imperfections' may be present, but this is the beauty of letterpress and one of the reasons why we love it so much. Each piece is unique and original.

I also take custom orders for wedding invitations. I would love to hear from you to discuss what you need.
