Announcement
♦PinsNBeetles aims to re-purpose and encapsulate the wonders of nature in an effort to educate, and hopefully positively impact the prejudice we have against insects. Many of us will never travel as much as we want to, but my pieces come from insects that span across the globe, offering a window into the world that lies beyond your backyard.
♦Please note that I don't kill any of these bugs. Sometimes I collect them locally after they've died, or they've been donated to me by friends I've connected with through social media. Many also originate from farms which help protect the integrity of the environment and keep endangered species safe.
♦If you enjoy nature, and offbeat stuff, I hope you'll keep in touch and follow me on Instagram and Facebook at PinsAndBeetles for updates and coupons.
♦If you have any questions, convo me here or email me anytime at PinsAndBeetlesMailbox at Gmail.

5 out of 5 starsI'm SO excited that these gorgeous earrings have arrived! They're a gift for my sister (i already have a pair of my own) and I cannot wait for her to visit so I can give these beautiful earrings to her! The seller was so kind and the packaging is just as gorgeous as the earrings inside! Will be returning for more insect related trinkets <3

Frequently asked questions
How do you source your insects?
Sometimes I find them locally. Other times friends I’ve connected with on social media donate to me their finds! These insects are always found already dead, so nothing is killed for art. Just thoughtfully repurposed after their natural deaths.
The more exotic types you see in my shop, either come from insect farms/sanctuaries, or breeders, and are not wild caught. These establishments are an important aspect of wildlife conservation because natural habitats must be preserved in order to care for their insects. This is land that would otherwise be used for agriculture, and require acres of forest to be removed. By providing jobs that help keep forest intact, we’re protecting not only insects, but also the homes of many other animals.
