About

Welcome

Hello, my name is Raechel. I am an Aboriginal Artist from Australia. I come from the Biripi Nation on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

I love to create both clay sculptures and acrylic cultural paintings on canvas. My artworks are based on my love for my people, animals, nature and all of God's Creation.

Art has always been a major part of my life, growing up in the home of an artist, my father - Pastor Russell Saunders OAM, I have constantly been surrounded by creativity. My abstract Aboriginal Art style is heavily inspired by my fathers work and teaching.

Everyday my life consists of art. Making artwork, looking at artwork, dreaming of artwork. And I am thankful I have been given the chance to live this wonderful life.

I have been selling my art from our small home studio in Australia to visitors from around the globe for over 11 years, and now I look forward to sharing my Art with even more of the world.

Hi, welcome to my little gallery - I choose to paint and sculpt Australian animals as a celebration of my culture and the animals individual natural beauty.

My designs belong to me and my family, and in creating them in different versions I am able to keep telling our stories and sharing the knowledge.
Because of this, some works may be similar, but never exactly the same.

- Art is my everyday. Always has been, hope it always will be -
I hope you find something here to please you and inspire you too.
