Ciao! Sono Rachel, una creativa, creatrice e designer appassionata con un amore per tutto ciò che riguarda l'artigianato. Il mio viaggio nel mondo del ricamo è iniziato con il ricamo a mano, che ha suscitato il mio interesse e alla fine mi ha portato ad acquistare una macchina Brother durante la pandemia. Autodidatta sia nel ricamo a macchina che nella digitalizzazione dei miei disegni, ora condivido i miei modelli con altre ricamatrici, aiutandole a dare vita alle loro visioni creative.

La mia passione artigianale va oltre il ricamo. Faccio volontariato insegnando corsi d'arte agli anziani, dove creo e preparo attività mensili che vanno dal ricamo alla pittura, alla creazione di gnomi, al decoupage, alle ghirlande e molto altro. Costantemente ispirato, cerco sempre nuove idee artigianali e le trasformo in kit individuali per le mie lezioni di artigianato per senior e adulti.

Credo che il fai da te debba essere accessibile a tutti. È un modo meraviglioso per prendersi del tempo per se stessi, rilassarsi ed esplorare la propria creatività. Al di là della crescita personale, vedo l’artigianato anche come un modo per creare connessioni con gli altri. Acquista oggetti di artigianato per i tuoi amici, organizza una serata artigianale e condividi la gioia di creare insieme. L’impatto positivo che ho visto il crafting avere sia sulla comunità che sulla crescita individuale è stato profondo. Voglio che tutti abbiano la possibilità di creare e connettersi perché, nelle nostre vite frenetiche, è importante rallentare e concedersi il dono della creatività.

Hi there! I'm Rachel, a passionate creative, maker, and designer with a love for all things crafting. My journey into the world of embroidery began with hand embroidery, which sparked my interest and eventually led me to acquire a Brother machine during the pandemic. Self-taught in both machine embroidery and digitizing my own drawings, I now share my patterns with fellow embroiderers, helping them bring their own creative visions to life.

My crafting passion extends beyond embroidery. I volunteer by teaching art classes to seniors, where I create and pre-make monthly activities that range from embroidery to painting, gnome-making, decoupage, wreaths, and much more. Constantly inspired, I'm always coming up with new craft ideas and turning them into individual kits for my senior and adult craft classes.

I believe that crafting should be accessible to everyone. It’s a wonderful way to take time for yourself, unwind, and explore your creativity. Beyond personal growth, I also see crafting as a way to create connections with others. Buy crafts for your friends, host a craft night, and share the joy of creating together. The positive impact I’ve seen crafting have on both the community and individual growth has been profound. I want everyone to have the chance to create and connect because, in our fast-paced lives, it's important to slow down and give ourselves the gift of creativity.
