It made sense to turn a lifelong dream into reality by creating Sassy Kakes.
Having 18 years of experience in planning my own kid's birthday parties, teaching the 7th grade, hosting craft nights with my girlfriends and taking a few cake decorating & sewing classes gave me the courage to share my passion with others. My son has always been my right hand man and when my daughter showed interest, I took the gift of creativity, interest in event planning, and made my dreams come true.
I started a blog on February 11, 2011 for my friends and family to view the crafts, parties & projects I have made throughout the years. Well, it started out as a great display and then friends started asking if they could buy my work so I added some options for friends to buy, then on the weekends I would upload more pictures and share more crafts and now it has blown up in every wonderful possible way.

My latest creation is Sassy Kakes! On a quick trip to California I saw the cutest little cupcake bath fizzie, I studied that bath fizzie…..looking at every little detail, I went home, did some research and wah lah a Cupcake Bath Fizzie! I brought in a few bath fizzies for a coworker, the word spread quickly and I was amazed with everyone’s reaction. I came home that night with over 65 orders and in less than 4 days I was filling order every night! I have this fun little assembly line at home I have my son making packages, my husband doing labels, my daughter is the Quality Control & Testing gal, and I'm whipping up my next batch of Cupcake Fizzies!

Last, I need to thank all my family not only my husband and my children but, for my parents, brothers and sister, niece and nephews for all their hard work!
